The Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity will be the future home of the Department of Design. The center is set to open for classes during the fall 2024 semester.
All computer applications used for classes in this department operate in the Windows-based format. Software for first-year students is the Microsoft Office suite. Second through fourth year software requirements will be noted by the specific concentration at the beginning of each year.
Our department provides students with access to:
Laser engraving and cutting machines
Professional 3D additive printing
The Department of Design utilizes gifts to the department for a variety of purposes. Travel scholarships, field trips, guest lectures, entries for competitions and the like. No gift is too small to make an impact.
