The Clinical Simulation Centers are training and assessment centers that include the following simulation technologies:
Standardized Patients (SPs) - individuals trained to simulate medical conditions accurately and repeatedly in a "standardized" way
Human Patient Simulators - life-size plastic manikins (adult, child, and baby) that "breathe", "speak" through a microphone with trainees, have palpable pulses, a heartbeat (normal and abnormal) and other signs and symptoms allowing the user to simulate human physiology
SIMMAN 3G
Manufacturer: Laerdal
SimMan 3G is a portable and advanced patient simulator for team training. SimMan 3G has realistic anatomy, clinical functionality and can display neurological symptoms as well as physiological. It is simple to operate and features innovative technology such as automatic drug recognition. SimMan 3G provides simulation-based education to challenge and test students’ clinical and decision-making skills during realistic patient care scenarios. SimMan 3G includes well-proven software and an interactive technologically advanced manikin allowing learners to practice the emergency treatment of patients.
SIMMAN3G+
Manufacturer: Laerdal
Built on decades of expertise, SimMan 3G PLUS offers a fully immersive experience setting the standard in patient care simulation. Designed to simulate complex medical cases that help prepare learners for real-world situations, SimMan 3G PLUS features interchangeable headskins to reflect a range of simulated patients, full articulation for realistic patient handling, and technology to integrate real clinical devices for heightened realism. Training individually or in a team, learners can practice critical skills such as decision-making and team communication to deliver high-quality patient care. SimMan 3G PLUS ensures that when it’s real, they'll be ready.
NURSING ANNE

MegaCode Kid is a realistic manikin for training in a wide range of pediatric advanced life saving skills in pre-hospital emergencies. MegaCode Kid has a realistic airway, 1400+ ECGs rhythms, defibrillation and pacing capabilities, and allows drug administration and intraosseous infusion to teach emergency skills.
VICTORIA MATERNAL AND NEONATAL BIRTHING SIMULATOR
Manufacturer: Gaumard
From early pregnancy complications, high-risk deliveries, and postpartum emergencies to non-gravid scenarios for general nursing care, Victoria simulates a full range of obstetrical events to facilitate teamwork and deepen critical thinking skills in learners of all levels. More than a childbirth simulator, Victoria is a complete simulation solution developed from decades of obstetrical experience. It is a comprehensive package of tools and support designed to help improve patient safety in women’s health through education and training
SUPER TORY
Manufacturer: Gaumard
Super Tory is the first newborn simulator developed to meet the challenges of neonatal care specialist training in real environments. Active movement, true ventilator support, real patient monitoring, and all-day battery life. These are just a few of the revolutionary new capabilities which allow Super Tory to simulate complex pathologies and respond to interventions with unparalleled realism.
AVSTICK WEARABLE IV SIMULATOR
Manufacturer: AVKIN
Avstick, a wearable IV simulator worn as a left-arm sleeve, allows learners to practice high-fidelity IV insertion during simulation. The wearable simulator cues the live patient wearing the sleeve through haptic vibration when the needle first pierces the smart skin. Multiple layers of woven plastic have been integrated into premium silicone to protect the wearer from any harm during the simulation.
CONTROL ROOM AND AUDIO/VISUAL SYSTEM
The Control Room allows instructors to interact with the students and control the manikins from a central location. There is a laptop computer that runs the manikin software and A/V software. Each room in the Clinical Simulation Center is equipped with two pan-zoom-tilt cameras and a microphone. The audio and video of each scenario is recorded digitally to allow students and instructors an opportunity to discuss the training event during the debriefing session.
