The Teaching Resources Center (TRC), located inside Peters Hall, provides an abundance of services available to students, faculty, and public patrons.
Faculty can request an orientation of the Teaching Resources Center for their classes. These orientations can be general introductions to the resources and services of the center or specific to a class project or requirement.

The computer lab in Peters C144 has 27 workstations that are connected to the university’s network with full internet access. The current software used by the university and additional special software used in the College of Education and Human Development classes are installed. The lab is used for Radford University classes and special reservations. When the lab is not reserved for a class or an event, it is open to students.

The mobile classroom cart provides laptops for use in classrooms in Peters Hall. To schedule use of the laptops for classes, please email us at trc@radford.edu.
Faculty in the College of Education and Human Development may place items on reserve in the TRC. Reserve materials are used only in the TRC and do not leave the Center. The materials are accessible through the reserves section of the online catalog and students may search for materials by course or instructor.
The Teaching Resources Center (TRC) has study guides for check-out to help students prepare for required educator preparation assessments such as Praxis and VCLA.

The computer lab area in the TRC has 14 workstations, each equipped with a desktop computer, keyboard, and mouse. Students and faculty from all disciplines have access to a black & white/color printer, with scan-to-email capabilities.

Public patrons can obtain a library card at the circulation desk. This card is valid for one year.
Students, faculty/staff, and public patrons can browse the Teaching Resources Center's (TRC) resources using McConnell Library's online catalog.
Depending on the type of material, loan periods range from 7-14 days with a possibility of three renewals. Some materials do not circulate and must be used in the Center.
TRC materials should be returned by their due date. Some items are renewable and may be renewed by coming to the TRC or by phone at 540-831-5832.
