
Compass is a complimentary benefit for select students based on their financial aid package offering holistic support, advocacy, and specialized programming.
Each student is paired with a Student Success Advocate to assist them in accessing resources, learning essential skills, and navigating every aspect of their collegiate journey from registration to graduation.
Camp Compass offers early access for first-year, residential students to connect with campus resources, build community, and start their path to success. This program offers early move-in, 1-on-1 guidance with campus leaders, free excursions, activities, and events, and a $500 scholarship upon completion.

True North is an 8-week group experience for students to support one another as they navigate their first year at Radford. This program offers groups for incoming Freshmen and new Transfer students, providing a safe space to connect, problem-solve, and build community with their peers.

Adulting Unlocked Workshops empower Compass students with practical life skills that foster independence, confidence, and success. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, workshops aim to provide the knowledge and tools needed to navigate financial decisions, housing, time management, and everyday responsibilities with confidence and clarity.

The Compass Assistance Fund is a grant to aid Compass students experiencing financial distress or barriers. Students in need of funding can make a request by meeting with their Student Success Advocate. All requests are subject to review.
