Michael Ziegenfus
2024 Graduate
While finding his place at Radford, Ziegenfus gained valuable knowledge and skills that prepared him for a bright future. He ventured far beyond campus with a semester abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland and a trek to Utqiagvik, Alaska, as part of the 2024 annual Arctic geophysics research trip.
The Wonders of Space
Radford University Planetarium
In addition to our academic programs, we also run the planetarium. Seating up to 55 visitors per show, the 10-meter-diameter dome houses a state-of-the-art Digistar 5 system. The planetarium is the center for astronomy and space science education for the campus community and the surrounding area.
