V. Course Description:
Students continue the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide acute,
ambulatory, and home care for selected health problems. Students apply the nursing
process, integrating concepts of illness and disease management, and health promotion.
The roles of the provider of care, designer/manager/coordinator of care, and interprofessional
collaborator in complex nursing situations are emphasized.
