Catalog Description
Healthcare literature is evaluated and implications of evidence-based practice are
examined. Quantitative research methods, data collection, and statistical analysis
are evaluated for designing and conducting research.

This course is divided into the following three modules:

This course is taught through virtual lectures, case studies, required and supplemental readings, discussions, and presentations.

Attend two mandatory Zoom sessions (15 points each) plus the presentation session.
First session is to discuss the syllabus and project. 2nd session discusses data collection
and analysis. There will also be other optional sessions (no points)
Weekly quizzes/exercises (10 or 15 points per assignment)
Project checkpoints 1-3 (3 assignments @ 50 points each)
Participation as research partner of project sub assignments (20 points per assignment)
Evaluation of your participation (provided by your study partner)
Final project paper & Presentation
