Goals and Objectives of the Course

1. To develop students abilities to understand human behavior from a developmental point of view.
2. To develop students abilities to understand the major theories of personality development with purpose of making distinction between healthy and dysfunctional behavior through life cycle.
3. To develop students abilities to understand the social and psychological influences of self concept.
4. To develop students abilities to understand multicultural, ethnic, and gender issues which influence individual behavior.
5. To develop students abilities to understand the value of a social-psychological framework in understanding behavior.
