Wednesday, August 20, 2025-Friday, August 22, 2025 Highlander Haulers A Highlander Hauler is a campus community member (student, faculty, staff) who assists fellow Highlanders and their families with making move-in a fun and positive experience! You will be assigned to a specific location where you will welcome students and their families, assist them with unloading their items, directing traffic and parking, and help manage the distribution of move-in carts.   Pre-registration is required: Highlander Hauler Registration

Student Involvement and Fraternity and Sorority Life recognize that incidents of hazing occur in many types of clubs, organizations, and teams which is why we are committed to increasing awareness regarding hazing prevention for all registered clubs and organizations.

In January 2022, Senate Bill 439, also called “Adam’s Law” which focuses on hazing prevention for all colleges in Virginia, passed with a unanimous vote from the Virginia Senate. The law is named in memory of VCU student Adam Oakes, who died in February 2021.

To be in compliance with Adam’s Law, Student Involvement is offering this training to all members of clubs and organizations.
