The Office of Economic Development’s philosophy is straightforward: Engage early and frequently with our industry and community partners to understand their evolving strategic needs. We then work to align Radford University’s extensive network of assets and expertise to those needs, ensuring that today’s partnerships create impactful results for tomorrow. Our team provides comprehensive support to deliver a full spectrum of engagement opportunities to support businesses, governmental entities, and nonprofits.

The Office of Economic Development spearheads several economic development initiatives on behalf of the university, including:

  • Go Virginia funded workforce development project increasing the number of certified professionals to fill critical, in-demand IT/Cyber jobs in the region.
