Wendy Eckenrod-Green has taught courses related to research, human development, and
school and community relations. She is an active member of several professional associations
and serves as a consultant for university, public schools and nonprofit organizations.
She has also been the recipient of several awards including the Teacher of the Year
for the College of Education and Human Development (2009), Outstanding Teacher of
the Year Award from the Radford University chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (2010), and an
Emerging Leaders Award for the Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision
(2010).
She has been published in theJournal of School CounselingandCounseling Today. Eckenrod-Green’s previous work experience is as a high school counselor, as well
as providing individual counseling in areas of substance abuse, family dysfunction,
and various mental health issues.
