George received his undergraduate degree (BS) from the University of North Texas in
Physical Education. After working in commercial fitness and as a traveling salesperson,
he earned his MA in human performance from New Mexico Highlands University. His doctoral
work is through Texas Woman’s University Kinesiology department. His teaching interests
lie in strength and conditioning for all athletes, the use of novel training methods
to affect strength and power adaptations, glucose/insulin metabolism across the lifespan
and exercise effects on it.
